HIDDEN FIGURE SYNOPSIS

“The Life-changing story of the women behind the scenes of NASA exploration.”

Hidden Figure is the story of the of Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson an African-American women and a member of West Computer Room of NASA where the colored people work who changed the phase of society and prove themselves to contribute and make a history.

At that time,in Virginia the practice of equality for black and white people cannot be observe. Where, our three protagonist experience the prejudice and segregation between people through the color of skin and nationality. But then, their skills and natural talents confronts and overturn the discrimination when they qualified and admitted for the opening job at the East Computer Room of NASA where the white people work and stay. But they aren’t accepted easily and was underrated by the white people just because of their color. But this doesn’t make them quit rather become a motivation to show what they can do and what they can achieve. They proved that they are not just a black women but a women with dignity and intelligence. That they can be the best on their fields if were given a chance. They had perform a big role to NASA operation and success of exploration. Mary Jackson as the NASA’s first female black engineer and overwrite the stricture of Virginia schooling. Dorothy Vaughan as supervisor in black women computer and become the first ever African-american woman to hold a supervisory in NASA and help the institution to computer programming together with her black women team. And Katherine Johnson whom work at Flight Research Division and outwit every person in the room with her computing skills and intelligence made it possible for the American to be the first one to orbit the planet and made it out alive.

Today, color, skin, nationality and etc. doesn’t needed in order for someone to be good in their fields either its programming, computing, engineering or whatever you want to achieve. All people are now treated equally and with values. Computer before referred to be the people or women who do the computing manually that will be input to the machine but now, computer is a machine made to operate programs and do the computing with complete ease for people.
