How to keep your spirits up in lockdown.

It is a very difficult time for all of us. Corona virus *like Cardi B says it* is serious. The WHO has announced it as a Pandemic, which a stage higher than an Epidemic.

Many countries have been on lockdown for months now. India is in the 6th week of battling with Corona Virus. We were on lockdown for 21 days and now another 19 days lockdown, that is till May 3rd ,has been announced by the Prime Minister of India.

In times like these, it is very hard to stay Positive while staying away from testing positive. While we all stay home and stay safe, and do our contribution.

I have come across some brilliant ideas to cure you from bordem. There are so many things you can find interesting which you thought were boring.

So let’s see what can be done while sitting at home.

Netflix and chill

I know we can “Netflix and chill” , but we sure can just netflix and just chill. Netflix has brought to you some old classics like kuch kuch hota hai, the 70’s show and many more. It is also loaded with great shows and TV series. Rekindle your love with these oldies but goldies, or start something new.

I recently came across some great content on Amazon Prime and Hotstar as well. Hotstar also has included some famous Disney edition. They have all these movies, shows and everything that we saw as kids.

Revive the old memories. Go back to your childhood, for some people, it will be with their children. How amazing is that.

Set up a home Movie theater

Like the Dolgona Coffee, creating your own home theater is another tread that’s been growing on social media. It is when people make a knook using a bedspread and some fairy lights. They make a comfy corner with TV or Laptop and watch movies in their own space.

Medetation and yoga

Now that you have the time that you always wanted to start your yoga practices and your meditation that you always wanted to start. Meditation can help keep you calm and maintain your mental health. I met people who are not keeping well mentally, because of the conditions, also because most of them are staying all alone in a home. Meditate to stay healthy.

At the end, i would just say, stay home, stay healthy.
