Rachel Reddick announced she is seeking the Democratic nomination in the 8th Congressional District.
Reddick graduated from Temple University, then worked as a legal advocate for survivors of domestic abuse with A Woman’s Place, the Doylestown-based domestic violence agency.
Reddick earned a law degree at Rutgers. While in law school, she joined the U.S. Navy as a Judge Advocate General.
Reddick served on active duty for six years as a military prosecutor, adviser to military commanders and representative for service members.
In 2012, she was appointed as a Special United States Attorney and prosecuted for the Navy in federal court. In 2013, she deployed on an amphibious warship in the Pacific.

Reddick and her husband, Nick, a federal prosecutor, have a son, Sawyer. She continues to serve as an officer in the Naval Reserve. ••
