If elected, Reddick would get tough on Wall Street and combat the opioid epidemic

By Tom Waring

The Times

Rachel Reddick announced she is seeking the Democratic nomination in the 8th Congressional District.

Reddick graduated from Temple University, then worked as a legal advocate for survivors of domestic abuse with A Woman’s Place, the Doylestown-based domestic violence agency.

Reddick earned a law degree at Rutgers. While in law school, she joined the U.S. Navy as a Judge Advocate General.

Reddick served on active duty for six years as a military prosecutor, adviser to military commanders and representative for service members.

In 2012, she was appointed as a Special United States Attorney and prosecuted for the Navy in federal court. In 2013, she deployed on an amphibious warship in the Pacific.

If elected, Reddick would get tough on Wall Street and combat the opioid epidemic.

Reddick and her husband, Nick, a federal prosecutor, have a son, Sawyer. She continues to serve as an officer in the Naval Reserve. ••
