Trump is being coy over whether he will run again

For the good citizens of Iowa and New Hampshire, it’s looking a lot like 2023. Republican presidential hopefuls are popping up all over the place.

Why so early? Or why at all? Isn’t Trump the favored Republican candidate for 2024?

Why, yes he is. But he hasn’t made a formal announcement yet other than to say that he would make his decision on whether or not to run after the 2022 midterms.

Puh-leeze. This is a classic Trump ploy. He’s going to run. He just likes keeping everyone in suspense. Except that there is no suspense here. Well, maybe for Republicans. They keep falling for his supposed indecision over important decisions.

Every Republican who has even a remote interest in running for president, has started campaigning, trying to establish name recognition, staking out some positions, getting to know the voters in those crucial early voting states.

You know, just in case Trump decides that he is not going to run. After all, he is 74. In 2024 he will be 78. Will he be up to the rigors of campaigning? Will he up for 4 more years as president? All that executive time and all those golf outings can be exhausting.

So who are some of the Republicans that you are likely to meet on the campaign trail this early in the election cycle?
